KPYK-AM is a community service station broadcasting all regular city council and school board meetings, as well as all high school sports; local and area news is emphasized. Emphasis on Texas artists with a spotlight on artists from the local area. Broadcasts "The Bob Snyder Show" from 2:15-3:00 p.m. Saturdays. It features Bob Snyder, retired high school band director, Len Mohnkern, Dave Washburn, air conditioner repairman, and Bill Rand, pianist. Broadcasts one hour of the Wylie Opry at 9 p.m. Saturdays.
